MICRONEEDLING

Your Skin and our Technology, a winning partnership

What is MicroNeedling?

Our MicroNeedling treatment treats all conditions on the face from fine lines and wrinkles, acne, scarring, sun damage and enlarged pores but also includes treating under the eyes for lines, eye bags and dark circles, eyelids for lifting hooded eye lids and over the lip area for a collagen lip plump refining the lip line, reducing fine lines around the lips and increase the lips fullness.

Active products are used on the skin during your treatment due to the microchannels created allowing your skin to carry up to 80% more active ingredients, which dive deep into your skin to feed and be absorbed by the underlying cells.

What can MicroNeedling Treat?

Anti Ageing

Microneedling treatments designed to create a safe healing response within the body to ignite natural collagen and elastin production from within the skin, without harsh side effects and downtime, along with repairing the surface layers to result in healthier skin; looking brighter, tighter, more even toned, refined pores and reduced wrinkles.

Your face, lip area, eye area, ears, neck, chest, hands and scalp are all treated with pinpoint precision to promote rapid lifting, firming and toning of facial features and contours.

What’s more, the microchannels allow your skin to carry up to 80% more active ingredients which dive deep into your skin to feed and be absorbed by the underlying cells. You'll see results in just one session.

Scarring

For years, MicroNeedling has been providing results and improving the appearance of acne scars. The physiological nature of microneedling can break up fibrous and uneven scar tissue, and encourage the growth of new tissue. MicroNeedling keeps the epidermis integrity fully intact, which quickens healing time and causes less pain.

Pigmentation

Unlike some Laser treatments, MicroNeedling removes the risk of heat injury and hypopigmentation risks, whilst promoting optimised cell function. This makes it a suitable procedure for any patient affected by melasma and with a predisposition to hyperpigmentation. Treatment is also suitable on all Fitzpatrick Skin Types and ethnicities.

Frequently Asked Questions

How does Microneedling work?

Your skin has a self-rejuvenating function that is capable of significantly reducing blemishes caused by acne, trauma, pigmentation and a range of other ailments. Micro-needling activates this process by causing tiny punctures across the treated area. As your skin heals, it produces collagen which forms a new layer of fresh tissue, creating a more youthful appearance on the surface and fighting antibodies beneath. Minimal Trauma Maximum Results! Micro needling technology has significant benefits over dermal-rolling and Fractional laser treatments, due to the minimal trauma inflicted upon your skin. This allows your skin to spend more effort fighting the ailment itself, rather than collateral damage inflicted during the procedure itself.

SKINCARE ADVICE Your skin works hard to keep you healthy, and you can return the favour by looking after it. Top Tips Use an SPF. Sunlight contains ultraviolet (UV) rays, which are the main cause of skin ageing and can cause skin cancer. Stop smoking. Smoking is one of the main environmental factors in premature skin ageing by breaking down and preventing the production of new collagen. Smoking also causes the tiny blood vessels in the skin to constrict, reducing the supply of oxygen to the skin. Cut down your alcohol consumption. When you drink alcohol, your body and skin can become dehydrated, leaving the skin looking older and tired. Eat a healthy diet and drink plenty of water. Follow a skin care routine to nourish and treat your skin. Ask your skin care professional what products would be best suited to protect and improve your skin. Cleanse morning and night. Exfoliate. Use a mask, eye cream and skin appropriate moisturiser.

Traditionally mesotherapy is the introduction of highly concentrated products to the mesodermal layer of the skin by the use of tiny injections. Due to microneedling creating microchannels Mesotherapy products can be applied to the skin and the microneedling is used over the top to push the products into the mesodermal layer without the use of injections. By adding Mesotherapy it creates the most comprehensive and advanced micro-needling treatment available.
